Security.How do I use the ultra-wide monitors in a terminal server environment? Forcing a screen paint event clears the red, but the app is never resized or aligned to a grid. Apps do not snap to any grid, and rather than resizing the app to the grid, it paints every part of the screen that is not the active app red.

The Easy Settings Box software does not appear to work on the server (Windows Server 2012 R2). This makes sense to me RDP is just an application on the local machine, the software is running on the local machine, and the VDI is independent of all that. It will snap to one of the grids the ESB software created for the local machine, but applications in the virtual environment do not snap to any grid. The RDP window behaves like any other application. I have tested the Easy Settings Box on the local machines, and it works well.but only for the local machine. The computers could easy be thin/zero clients (and I have some of them too). My user's currently have either 3 or 4 displays, and the RDP connection uses all monitors.
The only application the local machines run is the RDP connection.
My users connect to a terminal server via RDP, and all applications are run in the virtual environment. I just bought two C49J890 ultra-wide displays to evaluate for my environment.
